A new baby can turn the world upside down!

We have heard many stories about how crazy it is for the parents who give birth - but what about their partners?

When my youngest son was born, my husband and I used a doula. She was supposed to be there for my support, as the one giving birth - but I think she was more of a support to my spouse!

There was a moment the nurse couldn’t find our baby’s heartbeat - and a team of 30 was called to our room. I couldn’t see what was going on - all I saw was my husband’s smile, and he reassured me I was doing great and everything would be ok.

I later heard he was FREAKING OUT - but the doula was coaching him to be a support to me. Without that support, he might have fallen apart.

New babies are exciting and turn the world upside down - and in Luke, we have John AND Jesus. How the world did change!
