Key Verse

For you say, “I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing.” You do not realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.

Humans will always struggle with money…

We will put too much importance on it - or we will struggle to have enough.

I’ve resigned myself to this thought - that we as humans will never truly figure it out when it comes to money and possessions.

The topic is all throughout scripture - Old and New Testaments. Jesus talks about money more than marriage.

Does it mean there is no hope? Absolutely not.

We just need constant reminders of what is truly important, and that we had better do good and share when we have extra!

God of all, you have given us the resources we need to live. Help us to share when we have an abundance, and to make wise choices with what we have been given. Amen
