Paul once again had been called to testify before the authorities. And once again we recall Paul’s story of Jesus confronting him on the road to Damascus.

I find it interesting that Paul continues to share this simple story without much embellishment. I know personally that as time passes I often “misremember” specific details about what specifically happened from an event I experienced in my own past.

I believe what this text teaches us is that often God uses seemingly mundane events in our lives to mold and shape us where we’re at. The encouragement I receive in my own faith life is learning to see these mundane experiences for what they really are—miracles.

Does God work miracles in the mundane for you?
